The name Atom applies to a pair of related standards. The Atom Syndication Format is an XML language used for web feeds, while the Atom Publishing Protocol (APP for short) is a simple HTTP-based protocol for creating and updating Web resources.

Atom , meaning "indivisible" . This indivisible context is made of an XML file that is constantly being updated by The Media Magnates (such as China Bloggers). Those poor readers are flooded and totally overwhelmed by the rich context of the web. Who can even withstand such amount of unstructered data ??? i call it Peacefull Atom ...piece-of-mind-like atom .
